Pretty painless experience overall comparatively with the IR-1 process. My biggest gripe was that there ended up being quite a bit of waiting around for my number to be called for the interview at the Tampa office, but that's minor in the grand scheme of things. Interview officer was very nice and talkative. |

Biometrics reused
First interview was on 9/12 but they were missing the ROC file. We were informed that they could not proceed with the interview and would send us a new appointment letter once they received the rest of the file. Second interview notice was dated 10/7/2022 and was for 10/21/2022.

Today is my turn to share my experience.
Tampa, FL – applied under 3 years rules with a pending I-751 Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence
TIME LINE
I-751 = applied March 25, 2021
September 24, 2021 = The fingerprints
August 25, 2022 = Case Transferred To Another Office
N-400
March 1, 2022 = applied online.
March 1, 2022 = Biometric Reuse
July 6, 2022 = Interview Was Scheduled
August 24, 2022 = interview date
Waiting for the ceremony date.
COMMENTS
My interview started 1h later than the scheduled time, although I was there 30 minutes before the schedule time. My spouse was there as well since I had a pending I-751, and it was combo interview (USCIS called to notify that my spouse must go with me for the interview). To my spouse was asked only his full name and date of birth. The office asked for any updated documents since I applied for the I-751, and updated tax document. Asked the yes and no questions. Confirm that I want to drop my middle name. Asked about travel after the fille date. And at the end, let me know that she was recommending me for the approval, and was requesting my I-751 documents to be approved, and the ceremony date will be mail to me (about 3 weeks from the interview date).
